The People Who
Inspired Us

Behind every acre of land lies a story — not of poverty, but of perseverance. These are the people who inspire BhumiAI — ordinary farmers with extraordinary resilience.

Farmer Sesai
Sesai — Hardworking Farmer Since Childhood

In a small village in Andhra Pradesh lives Sesai, a 50-year-old farmer who has spent his life working the soil that barely feeds his family of four. For years, the land he cultivated wasn't even registered in his name — meaning he couldn't get government support or apply for low-interest loans. Yet, every season, he leases small patches of land, borrowing at high interest just to grow his crops. His son, a B.Sc. graduate, stays home without job opportunities. Still, Sesai continues to work before sunrise, holding onto faith that one good harvest will change everything. His story isn't about failure — it's about perseverance, dignity, and hope.

"I still hope the next crop will change our life."
Manoj, Venkat & Kranthi

Manoj, Venkat, and Kranthi are in their mid-20s — diploma and engineering graduates who returned to farming when job opportunities fell short. They are digitally aware, active in WhatsApp farming groups, and watch YouTube videos to learn about crops and prices. Yet, despite their awareness, they hesitate to use new technologies like drones or subsidy-linked mechanization programs. Their story reflects a new generation of farmers — educated, connected, but still caught between tradition and transformation. They want to innovate but need the right support, tools, and trust to move forward.

"We know what can change farming — but not how to make it reach us."
